Residents to Meet New Baltimore City Council Candidates

The Thursday night town hall meeting is in the municipal conference room at the new police station on Green Street.

The public is welcome to attend a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday to learn more about the New Baltimore City Council candidates.

The meeting will be held in the community meeting room in the new police station at 37885 Green Street.

Candidates will have time to introduce themselves and speak about their platforms. Attendees can write questions on cards for them to answer.

There are three open, four-year term seats on council and one open two-year term seat in the Nov. 8 election. Mayor Larry Smith is running unopposed.

The four-year term candidates are:

  • Incumbent David Duffy
  • Incumbent Florence Hayman
  • Frank Krause
  • Stan Russell
  • Zack Stanton

The two-year term candidates are:

  • Jim Morisette Sr.
  • Karl T. Rutledge
