Local government offices, schools and libraries are closing up for Christmas 2012. Here’s a look at closures for various places in New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township.

New Baltimore

  • City of New Baltimore Municipal Building: Closed Dec. 24-26.
  • MacDonald Public Library: Closed Dec. 24 and 25.

Chesterfield Township

  • Chesterfield Township Municipal Offices: Closed Dec. 24-26.
  • Chesterfield Senior Center: Closed Dec. 24-26.
  • Chesterfield Township Library: Closed Dec. 24-26.

Schools

  • Anchor Bay School District: No school, Christmas break Dec. 24-Jan. 4. School resumes Jan. 7.
  • L’Anse Creuse Public Schools: No school, winter recess Dec. 24-Jan. 4. School resumes Jan. 7.

  • Rizzo Services: Garbage will not be collected on Christmas Day. Services will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.

  • United States Postal Service: Post offices are closed Dec. 25. All post offices open and regular mail delivery resumes Dec. 26.
  • Secretary of State: All SOS offices are closed Dec. 24 and 25.
