LEAP speaker joins State Rep in Rochester to discuss failed drug war

ROCHESTER, MICHIGAN- The Executive Director of the national office of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) has announced a special presentation in southeast Michigan.

Retired Captain Howard Rahtz will be joined by Rep. Tom McMillin at the Rochester Library for a panel discussion on why our current drug policies are ineffective. Rahtz is a former Chief of Police from Cincinnati and is an author.

Dan Korobkin from the Michigan American Civil Liberties Union is also scheduled to appear as a panelist.

Please join LEAP speaker and retired Cincinnati Police Captain Howard Rahtz for a town hall meeting about the failed war on drugs at the Rochester Public Library on Monday, June 10 at 7pm.

Captain Rahtz, author of Community Policing: A Handbook for Beatcops & Supervisors and Understanding Police Use of Force will be joined by 45th District Representative Tom McMillin for a panel discussion on why our current drug policies are ineffective and how legalization would change things for the better.

The library is located at 500 Olde Towne Rd, Rochester, MI 48307. Come out and show your support for LEAP!
