Anchor Bay Schools Closed for Weather Wednesday
The ice and rain led officials to close Anchor Bay Schools on Wednesday.
Anchor Bay Schools students will have a day off Wednesday.
The schools will be closed because of the icy, rainy weather in the area, WDIV reported.
Other local closings include CSDD Chesterfield, St. Mary School-St. Clair, Merritt Academy in New Haven, and more. Check the TV web station site for more closings.

The National Weather Service had a Winter Weather Advisory for the area Wednesday morning. The freezing rain was predicted to become all rain after 1pm. While ice and freezing temperatures were in the area Wednesday morning, temperatures were expected to climb into the low 40s later today.
