$99 CCW/CPL Class

Detroit Arms, LLC has become one of the most popular CCW classes in the Metro Detroit Michigan area.  Our classes fill almost entirely by word of mouth every two weeks from referrals from our previous students.

We’re a family owned and operated retail store front business.  This makes  a difference as we’re able to comment with authority on the many product related questions that often come up.

We’re also a FFL so we deal with Federal and State firearms laws every hour of the day!  Furthermore, we use active law enforcement instructors and instructors with prior military experience as well.

Having said all that, we don’t let any of that go to our heads like some establishments.  We have become known as one of the only gun stores in the area that provides a family friendly environment.

Class Cost is $ 99 per person cash ($125.00 per person credit card) and includes your range fees for the indoor range portion of the course. We will serve snacks and coffee before class start and lunch is provided. We also provide a full hot lunch and beverages the day of the class. 

Class start time is 10:00 a.m. SHARP on day of class. Class is held at our store - Detroit Arms, LLC. 31733 23 Mile Road, Chesterfield, MI 48047 - we're located on the north side of 23 Mile Road, just west of Sass - about 1 1/2 miles east of I-94. 

The indoor qualification shooting portion of our class takes place on Monday night at 7:00 p.m. at Peters Indoor Range on 12 Mile & Gratiot. Directions will be provided the day of class. 

You do not need to own a firearm to take this course!! If you do not have a firearm, one will be provided for you to use at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. 

You may bring your own ammo to class if you have it - it will subject to approval by the range. Otherwise, you will be required to purchase Two boxes of ammo at the range ~ as 100 rounds will be required for the completion of our course. 

Note: Instructor is NRA certified and legal portion of class is provided by an MCOLES law enforcement instructor. All course materials are provided as well as a Michigan Concealed Pistol Permit Application Kit. This class satisifes the requirements for obtaining the Michigan Concealed Pistol Permit. 

You must pre-register and pre-pay in order to attend. Class fees are non-refundable. You may reschedule to a future class if unable to attend. This course requires course participants to be experienced shooters (mastery of the basic skills of safe gun handling, shoot a group, zeroing the firearm, and cleaning the firearm). Other courses are offered to obtain these skills if required.
