Parent Education Workshops

CARE is announcing the kick-off of the Summer 2011 Series of Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) skill-building courses for parents being offered from July-September 2011.

These group format workshops will give parents helpful techniques to improve communication, encourage cooperation, plus effective discipline strategies that promote both self-esteem and mutual respect within the family.  Courses are offered to parents and caregivers of children in the following age groups:
