L'Anse Creuse Public Schools calendar:

  • Jan. 7--School resumes
  • Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30--Elementary/middle school students--1 hour early release for all students, 1-1/2 hours professional work time for teachers
  • Jan. 8, 16, 30--High school/Pankow--1 hour early release, 1-1/2 hours professional work time for teachers
  • Jan 25--School closed for all students, full records day for teachers
  • Jan. 29--Middle/high school grades due by 9 a.m., elementary mid-marking reports due by 9 a.m.
  • Feb. 6, 12, 20, 27--One hour early release for all students, 1-1/2 hours professional work time for teachers
  • Feb. 15--School closed/mid-winter break
  • Feb. 19--School reopens
  • Feb. 26--Middle school/high school mid-marking reports due by 9 a.m.
  • March 6, 13, 20, 27--One-hour early release for all students; 1-1/2 hours professional work time for all teachers (except March 6 – High School – see below)
  • March 5--High School MME Testing – Students – Classes in session for Juniors only – no school for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Seniors. All staff to report. High school staff released at 12:50.
  • March 6--High School MME Testing – Classes in session all day for Juniors. Classes in session 10:55 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. for Freshman, Sophomores, and Seniors. High School/Pankow - Parent-Teacher conferences 1-1/2 hours
  • March 7--High School MME Testing – Classes in session all day for Juniors. Classes in session 10:55 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. for Freshman, Sophomores, and Seniors. Other half of high school reports in a.m., remainder of staff reports for full day. One half of high school staff reports in a.m., remainder of staff reports for full day. Middle School students - three and one-half hour early dismissal Middle School - three hour afternoon and three hour evening Parent- Teacher Conferences High School - three hour evening Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • March 8--All Students - three and one-half hour early dismissal Middle School/High School teachers – three and one-half hour early dismissal, Elementary students - End of 2nd marking period; 1⁄2 day records day for elementary teachers
  • March 12--Elementary - Grades due by 9:00 a.m.
  • March 21--Elementary students - three and one-half hour early dismissal Elementary - Three hour afternoon and evening Parent-Teacher Conferences
  • March 22--Elementary – three and one-half hour early dismissal for elementary students and teachers
  • March 28--Spring Recess begins at the end of day for all students and teachers Middle School/High School students – End of 3rd marking period Middle School Students – three and one-half hour early dismissal; 1⁄2 day records day for middle school teachers
  • April 8--School reopens – Full day for all students and teachers
  • April 9--Middle School/High School – Grades due by 9:00 a.m.
  • April 10,17, 24--One hour early release for all students, 1-1/2 hours professional work time for teachers
  • April 30--Elementary-mid-marking reports due by 9:00 a.m.
  • May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29--One hour early release for all students, 1-1/2 hours professional work time for teachers
  • May 7--Middle School/High School – mid-marking reports by 9:00 a.m.
  • May 23--Elementary students - Three and one-half hour early dismissal; half-day records day for elementary teachers
  • May 24--Memorial Day recess, school closed
  • May 28--School reopens
  • June 4, 5, 6--Final exams for high school students/one-half day for students
  •  June 5--Elementary - 1 hour early release; 1-1/2 hours professional work time for elementary teachers, Middle School - one-half day; one half day records day for middle school teachers
  • June 6--Last day of school for students, End of final marking period/second semester/school year Three and one-half hour early dismissal for all students Teacher checkout time - afternoon
