Six Anchor Bay School Teachers Retire

The district bid farewell to six educators earlier this month.

Anchor Bay School District said goodbye to six retiring teachers this month.

The Anchor Bay School District Board of Education has approved the retirements for the seasoned educators.

Retirements

Laurel Blom, secondary teacher. Blom has been with the district for 35 years.

Jeannie Kramer, elementary teacher. Kramer has been with the district for 20 years.

Susan Lafle, elementary teacher. Lafle has been with the district for nine years.

Virginia Shepherd, secondary teacher. Shepherd has been with the district for 38 years.

Joan Smith, secondary teacher. Smith has been with the district for five years.

Douglas Hayden, elementary teacher. Hayden has been with the district for 35 years.
