Big games on the horizon for Anchor Bay teams.

The Tars softball squad blanked L’Anse Creuse North, 7-0, Wednesday afternoon, while the baseball team also won, 2-0, over a very good team from Brandon High.

It was good news–and good play–from the Lady Tars soccer squad. Anchor Bay beat Dakota, 2-0, to get their first win of the young season.

The girls tennis team, however, was not as fortunate, falling to Warren Cousino, 6-2, Tuesday.

Upcoming Games

If you’re looking to catch a game this week, girls soccer might be just the ticket.

The Lady Tars battle rival L’Anse Creuse North at 7 p.m. Wednesday at LCN.

The Crusaders are a top-notch squad and an upset win for Anchor Bay would undoubtedly send a message to the rest of the Macomb Area Conference White.

This contest seems like a prime spot for the talented Lady Tars to pull off the upset. Check it out if you can.

Or if baseball is more your speed, then Thursday’s game at Stevenson is a must-see. The first pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
