Jack of Spades Raffle

The  Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #112  has a new fundraiser to help support their causes. It takes place at 9:30 p.m. the last Tuesday of every month at Green Street Tavern. The name of the game is Jack of Spades, and it raises money for the annual Cops and Kids Christmas shopping spree by helping to provide food, clothing and other essentials to local families. Those interested can purchase raffle tickets for $1 each at the Green Street Tavern or from an FOP 112 Lodge Member

On the last Tuesday of the month, four different names will be pulled from a bin. Whoever has their name drawn automatically wins $50, but they also have a chance to win more.

Once a person's name is called they then have the chance to pick one of 54 envelopes. Each envelope contains one of 54 cards; this deck includes both jokers. If the person picks a joker they win another $50; if they pick the jack of spades, though, they win 60 percent of the jackpot.
