MSU Football Recruit Also Stars on Court

Anchor Bay's Taiwan Jones is making his mark on the boys basketball team.

Taiwan Jones signed on last week to play football at Michigan State University next season, but the Spartans will have to wait.

Jones is concentrating on basketball these days and is averaging an impressive 18 points, 12 rebounds and two assists per game for the Tars.

“Taiwan is capable of playing multiple positions on the court,” Anchor Bay boys basketball coach Todd Green said. “He is able to shoot outside, as well as take you off the dribble and finish above the rim.”
