New Baltimore's Citizen and Business of the Year to Be Honored at Special Awards Dinner

New Baltimore resident Tom Hepp and a local McDonald's will receive honors.

New Baltimore's most dedicated member of its community and a local outstanding business will be honored Thursday at the annual Citizen & Business of the Year Dinner at Cedar Glen Golf Course.

Longtime resident Tom Hepp, who is a volunteer for the Bay-Rama Fishfly Committee and a member of the Parks & Recreation Commission, will be recognized for his commitment to the city.

Accepting the award for New Baltimore's Business of the Year will be Kevin and Kathy Setter, owners of the on Green Street.

Every year, the Citizen’s Advisory Committee accepts nominations for the Citizen of the Year award while the committee picks the business of the year.

Each honoree will receive a plaque presented to them by New Baltimore Mayor Larry Smith.

The dinner will be held May 24 at the . Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner being served at 6:45 p.m. There is also a cash bar. The program will begin after dinner. Tickets are $25/person and business attire is requested. Call City Hall at 586-725-2151 to purchase your ticket.
