Crusader Bands Prepare to Represent Macomb in London

The L'Anse Creuse High School North band has been invited to march in London's 2012 New Year's Day Parade.

This time next year, the L’Anse Creuse High School North marching band will have made Macomb history as the first local band to march in the London New Year’s Day Parade. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Lord Lieutenancy for Greater London, the Honorable Roger Bramble, issued a formal invitation for the event to the Crusader bands on Sept. 20, 2010. “There are a lot of things out there that offer invitations, but this comes right from the queen’s office,” said Jeremy Duby, director of bands. “It’s a huge honor to know that there is no application.
