After introducing several new-for-you salads, snacks and mini-versions of consumer favorites, 7-Eleven, Inc. turns its attention to heartier fare with the addition of two new premium sandwiches – the Steakhouse Roast Beef and Bistro Deluxe. Chesterfield police arrested a 21-year-old township man Tuesday afternoon on multiple charges.
Tracking down a suspected purse-snatcher led police to stolen GPS devices Tuesday in Chesterfield Township. Andrew Oland, 21 of Chesterfield, was arraigned Wednesday in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore on charges of larceny from person, a 10-year felony, and possession of a stolen credit card, a four-year felony, according to Detective Sgt. Deron Myers. Oland was lodged in Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens in lieu of a $5,000 cash bond. The charges stem from around noon Monday when a 33-year-old Chesterfield woman reported to police that her purse was snatched from her cart inside Meijer at 23 Mile and Gratiot. Michael Zech, 28 of Mount Clemens, was arraigned Friday in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore.
A 28-year-old Mount Clemens man was arraigned today in New Baltimore on armed robbery charges for three separate hold-ups last November in Chesterfield and Clinton townships. He faces two counts of armed robbery and two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. 7-Eleven stores in the Chesterfield Township area will offer 7.11-ounce Slurpees Wednesday, July 11, to celebrate the chain's birthday.
7-Eleven is turning 85 and, per tradition, the chain is offering patrons free 7.11-ounce Slurpees on Wednesday. Customers can grab a mini Slurpee from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at stores throughout the Chesterfield Township area. However, the free Slurpees are only available while supplies last, so you'll want to get yours as soon as possible. Since 2002, millions of free Slurpees have been given away on July 11 and 7-Eleven estimates this will be the biggest birthday giveaway to date.
