Police are asking the public's help in identifying two men responsible for the Tuesday crime.
Chesterfield Township police said they are searching for two men who robbed Rosie O'Grady's bookkeeper at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 1:30 p.m., police responded to an armed robbery inside office space at 30400 23 Mile Road in an area behind the popular bar. Officers surrounded the building before learning the thieves fled seconds before, according to township police. The chief financial officer for the business told police he was doing the bookkeeping for the St. Patrick's Day weekend when the two unknown men entered his office, pointed a handgun at him and ordered him to the ground. The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is asking the community to help identify three men accused of robbing a Speedway Gas Station in Harrison Township early Monday morning.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office is searching for three men accused of robbing a Harrison Township gas station and assaulting the clerk early Monday morning. The robbery took place around 1:19 a.m. at the Speedway Gas Station at 36475 Jefferson Ave. Surveillance video obtained by the sheriff's office shows three black males entering the store and approaching the clerk. The sheriff reports that one of the men pulled out a handgun, hit the clerk in the head and threatened to shoot him. The suspects tied the clerk’s hands and feet with zip ties before taking several cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash. A 37-year-old Westland man is accused of holding up the Speedway on 21 Mile on Nov. 25 at gunpoint in Chesterfield Township.
Chesterfield Township police said Thursday they arrested a man believed to be responsible for a late November gas station robbery. Township police say arrest warrants have been issued for Shaun Fielhauer, 37 of Westland, for armed robbery, felony firearm and possession of firearm by a felon. If convicted, Fielhauer faces up to life imprisonment. The charges pertain to a Nov. 25 armed robbery at Speedway gas station on 21 Mile near Interstate 94. Chesterfield Township police released a surveillance image from the crime to the media in hopes someone would identify the thief. Chesterfield Township police said Tuesday they're searching for a man who allegedly robbed a couple at gunpoint in the 23 Mile Road and Gratiot area. On the night of Nov. 6, the man, believed to be in his early 20s, entered Buffalo Wild Wings in the Target and Staples plaza, where he stayed and ate for some time. Around 1 a.m. Nov. 7, he approached a couple, who also dined there, near the restaurant entrance and asked them for a ride to Meijer. A 62-year-old Chesterfield Township man accused of holding someone up in the Kohl's parking lot pleaded guilty this month. Marvin Lee Hopkins pleaded to one count of armed robbery Nov. 15 in Macomb Circuit Court in Mount Clemens. Under the deal, prosecutors agreed not to add the charge of third-degree habitual offender. Armed robbery is a felony punishable by up to life imprisonment, according to court records. Hopkins is scheduled to be sentenced at 9 a.m. Dec. 19 before Circuit Judge Peter Maceroni. An 18-year-old Mount Clemens man is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly robbing a Warren man at gunpoint Sunday near the Bed, Bath and Beyond in Chesterfield. Alontez Willis was arraigned in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore Monday on charges of armed robbery, a life felony; felony firearm, a two-year mandatory felony; and possession of a stolen firearm, a 10-year felony. A 55-year-old man, formerly of Chesterfield Township, who is accused in a slew of armed robberies was arraigned today in New Baltimore, police said.
