Congress on Monday blocked an overhaul to the nation's school lunch program that would have cut the amount of potatoes served and would have changed the way schools get credit for serving vegetables only counting tomato paste on a slice of pizza if more than a quarter-cup of it was used, according to a story in The New York Times.
