'Fast-Moving Storm' With Freezing Rain, Snow to Hit New Baltimore Area Friday

Forecasters from the National Weather Service are calling for a chance of snow and freezing drizzle overnight. A "Hazardous Weather Statement" issued Thursday calls for a the freezing rain to develop after midnight in areas north of I-94, including parts of Macomb County. There is a 90 percent chance of snow and freezing rain on Friday. "A fast-moving storm system will bring accumulating snowfall late Friday afternoon through Friday night," the statement reads.
