Real Detroit Weekly Finds Best BBQ in New Baltimore

Bad Brad's BBQ was among the local businesses to make the Real Detroit's "Best in Metro
Detroit" guide for 2013.

A New Baltimore restaurant is top-notch for barbecue, according to Real Detroit Weekly. A weekly newspaper serving Metro Detroit, Real Detroit Weekly asks readers each year to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses in dozens of categories. The votes are tallied and each February, the "Best in Metro
Detroit" guide is released. This year, local businesses, including popular chains, snagged several of the top spots. Other popular chains to take top honors include Jimmy John's for best delivery, McDonald's for best fast food and Jet's Pizza for best pizza delivery. See the complete list here. Do you agree with these picks? Tell us in the comments.

Vote for the Best Nightlife in Chesterfield and New Baltimore

Cast your vote for the New Baltimore-Chesterfield Patch Readers' Choice 2012.

Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore have a lot to offer, from its family dining to delicious treats. But what's the best?  Earlier this summer, we asked you to help us gather nominations for Patch Readers' Choice 2012. For three weeks in June and July you told us about your favorite places. Nominations are no longer accepted. Cast your vote by Aug. 17 to say who's best. Whichever business gets the most votes will be named the Readers' Choice winner in that category. You must log in to Patch to vote and you may vote once in each category. The winners will be announced Aug. 24. (Having trouble viewing the polls? If you're reading this on our mobile site, know that you have to view the desktop version to see them.) Happy voting!
