Male Body Parts Painted on Garage, Hot Dogs Suspected as Pit Bull Bait, BMW Hit-and-Run

A resident in Zachary Court reported to police that sometime after midnight Dec. 16, someone spray painted a male body part on her garage door with black paint. There are no suspects at this time, police say. A Chesterfield resident reported to police that shortly after 4:30 p.m. Dec. 16, a BMW rear-ended his vehicle while he was stopped at the light on 23 Mile at Waterside Drive. The driver of the BMW fled the scene, according to police. The accident caused minor damage to the rear bumper of the victim's car, police say. Police say they are looking for a dark grey BMW with possible license plate combinations CR310 or CRY310. I witnessed a recent incident when a number of cars, including a BMW, Mercedes and an Audi were spray painted in one of the public parking areas in my neighborhood. The suspect has not been identified because, apparently, the surveillance camera did not properly capture incident because of the overgrown leaves of the tree that hindered the line of sight of the camera. Search On for Driver of Hit-and-Run Accident That Killed Washington Township Woman

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office has identified the body of a woman found Sunday near the Washington Mobile Home Park as that of Sandra Lee Loepp, 37, of Washington Township.

Macomb County sheriff's detectives are searching for the driver believed to have hit and killed a Washington Township woman early Sunday morning in the area of Van Dyke and 28 Mile Road. The woman's body was found by a passing motorist at approximately 8:20 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Washington Mobile Home Park office. The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Sandra Lee Loepp, of Washington Township, according to the sheriff's office. Detectives say Loepp left Santino’s Bar at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday and was walking northbound on either the shoulder or the roadway of Old Van Dyke when she was struck and dragged by an unknown vehicle. Sandra was a beautiful woman, on the inside as well as the outside. I was her mother-in-law when she was married to my son, Danny. Sandy always cared about people in her life and wanted peace among them all.
