Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore residents can start looking out for local characteristics of the spring season. Patch rounds up some sure signs of spring: World's Finest Frozen Custard, complete with mini golf and play areas, opens March 20 off 23 Mile in Chesterfield Township, according to its Facebook page. The seasonal stand is a popular, family-friendly hangout. Meanwhile, Dairy Queen in New Baltimore, which is also open in the warmer months, is already welcoming ice cream lovers. The annual New Baltimore Farmers Market next to the city's recreation center on Washington Street will hold its first-ever Spring Farmers Market May 19 with live music and activities, as well as plants, flowers, food and artisans.
