Harrison Township restaurant wins Food Fight poll for best pasta in Macomb County and Grosse Pointe.
The people have spoken: Luigi’s has the best pasta in Macomb County and Grosse Pointe. Luigi’s, located at 36691 Jefferson in Harrison Township, received 42 percent of the vote in the Food Fight poll. Salvatore Scallopini was second with 38 percent, and Da Francesco was third with 19 percent. Voting took place from Wednesday morning until Friday at 5 p.m. Congratulations, Luigi's, and thank you to all who participated in the Food Fight by voting in the poll and leaving comments on the site. We look forward to hearing from you again in the next edition of Food Fight.

When Patch asked for people’s opinions on the best place for pasta in Macomb County and Grosse Pointe, 23 readers gave their choices. We listened, and you have told us your top three choices: Da Francesco Italian Cuisine and Cafe, Luigi’s, and Salvatore Scallopini. Now we’re asking for a little more help to finish off this Food Fight. We would like you to vote on one of those three restaurants in our poll. If you would like, please leave a comment on why you voted, or share your choice on Facebook and Twitter. You can also leave a review of the restaurant on Patch.
