Districts spanning into New Baltimore and Chesterfield Township canceled classes on Friday.
It's another snow day for many Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore kids. Anchor Bay Schools, L'Anse Creuse Public Schools and New Haven Community Schools canceled classes due to the wintry conditions, according to the districts' websites. The announcement comes on the heels of a winter storm watch that called for between 4-8 inches of snow from Thursday evening through Friday.

The high winds from the remnants of Hurricane Sandy have left many without power, including three Anchor Bay Schools.
Ashley Elementary, Lighthouse Elementary, and Middle School North are closed October 30 because they have no power, according to Anchor Bay Schools. Watch Patch for updates.
