As a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, Andrea grew up reading several newspapers and magazines on a daily basis. Today the New York Times, Women's Wear Daily and Vanity Fair are among her favorite titles. She has written on almost every topic, from politics and business to fashion and health.

A journalism graduate of Oakland University, she has worked as a writer and managing editor for both local and national publications in major cities from New York to Los Angeles over the past 10 years. Andrea's work has appeared in the Detroit Free Press, The Oakland Press, Women's Wear Daily, Inside Weddings, Hour Detroit with its smaller publications and both The Malibu Times Newspaper and The Malibu Times Magazine.

She is also a member of the Association for Women in Communications who recently began contributing to Ambassador Magazine. Having covered local news as a reporter for the Birmingham Bloomfield Eagle newspaper, Andrea is excited to explore a local Patch community.
