5 Things About The Chesterfield Township Webber Splash Park

After much anticipation, the Chesterfield Township Webber Splash Park has drenched many children in delight this summer.

Here's some of our tips for first-time visitors to the splash park from New Baltimore-Chesterfield Township Patch and readers on our Facebook page:

Have exact change: Daily admission to Brandenburg Park, where the splash park is accessible, is $5 per vehicle and breaking bills is not always a viable option at the entrance. Season passes are also available.

Bring your seat: Bench space around the splash area is limited, so bringing a portable chair is not a bad idea for adults and kids who need a rest.

Snacks and drinks are sold: All that running and splashing stirring up appetites? Just outside the splash park, there's a stand that carries nachos, popcorn, treats, drinks and more.

Bathrooms are available: There are bathrooms in the building next to the splash pad; Ladies have to walk around the back (the side overlooking the lake) for the women's restroom while the men's room is facing the splash pad.

There's more to do than splash: Playscapes, swings and a long fishing pier are among the other park attractions.
