Cat with Badly Injured Leg Needs Help, Home

Struck by a car but able to drag himself to safety, injured Braveheart wound up at a local kitten and cat rescue. Now the shelter could use some help paying for his treatment.

Braveheart wants to go home.

But, the beautiful Angora cat needs to heal from bad wounds before finding a loving family.

Someone found Braveheart last week after he crawled into her yard. She was horrified to see he apparently had been hit by a car and was hurt and scared.

His fur was all mottled and matted like he'd been outside fending for himself. His leg was badly broken in several places. He was unable to walk and dragged himself into the yard for safety. The woman who found him brought him to Futures 4 Felines kitten and cat rescue.

Despite his injuries, his prognosis is excellent. He is going to need surgery; the doctors will need to put one or possibly several pins in his leg. The vets say that they believe he's going to have an excellent recovery and should have no long-term effects, pain or hindrance. He will be up for adoption in a few weeks and he seems to be affectionate in spite of his pain.
