Car Stolen From Walmart Parking Lot in Chesterfield and More

Store trip leaves shopper without car

A 2002 Dodge Stratus owner reported to police that her car was stolen around 1 p.m. Feb. 2 while she shopped at Walmart on Marketplace Boulevard, according to Chesterfield Township police.

Security footage of the parking lot shows a man get into her car and drive off. Police were investigating the incident.

Garage opens, thief runs

A Chesterfield Township home owner opened his garage around 5:40 a.m. Feb. 2 to find someone attempting to steal his tools at the 29000 block of Private Drive, according to police.

The would-be-thief fled the garage and drove off in a teal Chevy S-10. Anyone with information is asked to call township police.

Petty thefts from township properties

A home owner at the 46000 block of Burt Court reported that someone snatched black, metal wind chimes from the patio on Jan. 30. In a separate incident, a barbecue grill cover was taken from the 34000 block of Lakewood Drive Jan. 29, police reported on Crimedar.
