Home Invader Steals Pills While Resident Sleeps

Information in this crime blotter was supplied by New Baltimore police. Where arrests may be included, they do not indicate convictions.

A brazen home invader stole approximately 100 pain pills from the table next to a sleeping resident, creeping away unnoticed late last week in New Baltimore, the home owner told police.

Before Thursday morning, someone came into the unlocked home on Washington Street and took the Dilaudid tablets. The bottle, which was left empty, was on a table next to the home owner who was sleeping on a chair, he told police.

New Baltimore police said there was no sign of forced entry and nothing else was disturbed. No suspects were immediately known.
