8 Chesterfield Township Trustees Look Ahead to November Election

Trustee candidates Jerry Alexie and Thomas Yaschen didn't receive enough votes in the Tuesday election to stay in the race.

Eight Chesterfield Township trustee candidates will move forward to the November general election.

The four Republican candidates advancing are: David Joseph (23.3%), incumbent (22.2%), (19.6%) and (19.2%). didn't receive enough votes (15.7%) to stay in the race, according to unofficial Tuesday night election results.

The four Democrat candidates moving forward are: incumbent (24.5%), Keith Nelson (20.3%), Tom Scott (19.6%) and John Grivas (19%). Incumbent , who was appointed to the position by the township board, did not receive enough votes (16.7%) to stay in the race, the results show.
