Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore voters showed more support for Republican candidate Mitt Romney than for Democratic President Barack Obama.

In the 2012 election, there was a total of 10,993 Romney votes and 9,989 Obama votes in Chesterfield. Meanwhile, a total of 3,153 New Baltimore voters cast ballots for Romney while 2,710 favored Obama, according to Macomb County election results.
